INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE GAME LISTING

Train your Math skills in this rapid game. Type the correct answer.

03

Easy steps for beginners

Think of Rapid Math like this:

  1. You can only move a piece if there is room for it.
  2. Drag a piece into an empty spot, or pour matching pieces together.
  3. Keep big or long pieces near the edge and small ones filling gaps.
  4. Look for the piece that can move right now instead of searching at random.
  5. When everything is in one neat order, you win.

In one sentence: Move the pieces to sort, stack, empty or pour them correctly.

04

Your goal & how to win

TARGET
Move the pieces to sort, stack, empty or pour them correctly.
WIN
Finish the board exactly as the goal asks - all sorted, or all tubes emptied.

SCORING: Moves, time, or whether you solved it under the par move count.

Milestones to aim for while you learn:

  • Always move the largest available piece to a free end first.
  • Do not fill a tube completely unless it is complete - a full tube is a dead end.
05

Controls & buttons

  • Type on the keyboard
  • Most games on zbani.com work on a computer with a mouse and also on a phone or tablet with taps and swipes, so you can play either way.
06

Skills to practice

These are suggested skills to practice while playing, not a promise of improved memory, learning, or school performance.

Rapid Math trains several mental skills at the same time. Here is what each one does and why it is worth playing:

  • Sorting and categorising - you practise grouping by size, colour or type.
  • Logical sequencing - you work out an order of operations and follow it.
  • Impulse control - every move is tempting; only some are useful.
  • Problem solving - you try small moves and learn from the ones that fail.

Why it is good for kids in particular:

  • The rules are short and the feedback is instant, so young players stay motivated and build confidence quickly.
  • Every round is short, which fits into a school break without losing focus.
  • It is a screen skill that transfers off the screen: reading instructions, counting, planning and spotting mistakes all show up in everyday tasks.
07

Tips & strategies

  • Always move the largest available piece to a free end first.
  • Do not fill a tube completely unless it is complete - a full tube is a dead end.
  • Pour only onto a matching group or an empty tube.
  • If you are stuck, undo one move and try the alternative.
  • Play a few rounds before you try to be clever. Learn the simple rhythm first; the advanced tricks only work once the basics are automatic.
  • If you keep losing at the same point, that point is your training goal.
  • Short daily practice beats one long session, and it is how the real skills (planning and control) actually improve.
08

Friendly challenges

Keep challenges friendly and free. No money, purchases, or prizes are needed to enjoy the game.

zbani.com games are free and there is no real-money wagering here. If you play with friends, these are the fair, fun challenges people use:

  • Friendly challenge: solve it without using undo once.
  • Friendly challenge: solve in under 30 moves.
  • Friendly challenge: beat the move limit by 10 moves.
  • If you do bet something, bet a real-world thing: the loser makes tea, the loser chooses the next game, the loser does the washing up.
  • Play-money only, and never bet money you cannot afford to lose.
09

Reward & badge ideas

Ideas for the future. The stars, badges, and Best Player board described below are proposals. They are not currently awarded or tracked by zbani.com.

Stars. Earn stars for playing well in Rapid Math:

  • Stars are based on level, score and how few hints you used.
  • Stars are kept on your profile, so you can see your total growing over time rather than only your best single round.

Badges to collect:

  • Puzzle Master - solve with no moves over par
  • Undo Free - solve without a single undo
  • Speed Sort - solve in under 30 moves
  • Clean Sweep - finish a round without losing a life
  • Speed Star - finish under the target time
  • Combo Master - reach a 10x multiplier
  • Comeback Kid - win from last place or lowest score
  • Daily Player - play 7 days in a row

The Best Player board for Rapid Math:

  • The top scores and best times for Rapid Math are listed on a 'Best Player' board for that game, so there is always a target to aim at.
  • Beating your own score is the first milestone. Beating someone else on the board is the second. Both are worth celebrating.
  • Board spots should reset when the game is updated or the difficulty changes, so the ranking always means something.

Reward idea for a family or class:

  • Collect 10 stars for a sticker, 50 stars for a real reward, and 200 stars for 'Game Master of the Month'. Kids remember the badge far longer than the score, and it rewards steady practice instead of one lucky round.

Quick questions

Is Rapid Math free?

Yes. Every game on zbani.com is free to play and needs no account.

Do I need an account or sign-up?

Not to play. Signing in is only needed to post comments and join the player community conversations.

Can I play on a phone?

Yes - the games run in a normal web browser and respond to taps and swipes as well as mouse and keyboard.

Will there be adverts?

The game is hosted by HTMLGames and shows their advertising. It does not cost anything and it is not connected to your game account.

What is the best way to get better?

Play a few short rounds, write down the one thing that went wrong, and fix that next round. That single habit is what separates a good score from a great one.

About this guide

Sections 1, 2, 4, 5 and 11 come from the official Rapid Math game pages on zbani.com. Sections 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are written by a helper tool from the official description and the kind of game it is: they are guidance for players, not official rules from the publisher.

Sections 8 and 9 describe friendly challenges and a rewards idea for a family, class or community. zbani.com does not run real-money betting, and the 'Best Player' board described here is a suggestion for a leaderboard, not an existing zbani.com feature.

Word count of this card: about 1230 words.
