How to play

INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE GAME LISTING

Tripeaks Solitaire game for Christmas. Try to remove all cards by selecting cards that are 1 higher or lower in value than the open card at the bottom.

03

Easy steps for beginners

Think of Santa Tripeaks like this:

  1. Cards in three peaks overlap, so most cards are hidden.
  2. You win points by turning over a hidden card - you can only take a pair if one card is still face down.
  3. Find two matching cards that are free to take (nothing on top of them).
  4. Click the first card, then the matching card - both go to the waste pile.
  5. Reveal every hidden card and you finish the round.

In one sentence: Turn over all the face-down cards in three overlapping peaks by removing matching pairs.

04

Your goal & how to win

TARGET
Turn over all the face-down cards in three overlapping peaks by removing matching pairs.
WIN
Every card in the peaks revealed and the deck cleared.

SCORING: Points for each pair, multiplied by a streak bonus for quick consecutive takes.

Milestones to aim for while you learn:

  • Look for two cards of the same rank that both sit on peaks you can reach right now.
  • Do not take a pair that flips nothing unless you are near the end and need to empty the deck.
05

Controls & buttons

  • Mouse click or tap to play - most zbani games work with both mouse and touch
  • Most games on zbani.com work on a computer with a mouse and also on a phone or tablet with taps and swipes, so you can play either way.
06

Skills to practice

These are suggested skills to practice while playing, not a promise of improved memory, learning, or school performance.

Santa Tripeaks trains several mental skills at the same time. Here is what each one does and why it is worth playing:

  • Memory - you remember where earlier matching cards were revealed.
  • Scanning - you check the peaks repeatedly to find what is still available.
  • Value tracking - you keep count of which cards are still missing from the deck.
  • Long-term goal keeping - you stay motivated through many small point turns.

Why it is good for kids in particular:

  • The rules are short and the feedback is instant, so young players stay motivated and build confidence quickly.
  • Every round is short, which fits into a school break without losing focus.
  • It is a screen skill that transfers off the screen: reading instructions, counting, planning and spotting mistakes all show up in everyday tasks.
07

Tips & strategies

  • Look for two cards of the same rank that both sit on peaks you can reach right now.
  • Do not take a pair that flips nothing unless you are near the end and need to empty the deck.
  • Build your streak - many versions give bigger multipliers for quick consecutive pairs.
  • Watch the peak count: when a peak is empty you can no longer reach cards under it.
  • Play a few rounds before you try to be clever. Learn the simple rhythm first; the advanced tricks only work once the basics are automatic.
  • If you keep losing at the same point, that point is your training goal.
  • Short daily practice beats one long session, and it is how the real skills (planning and control) actually improve.
08

Friendly challenges

Keep challenges friendly and free. No money, purchases, or prizes are needed to enjoy the game.

zbani.com games are free and there is no real-money wagering here. If you play with friends, these are the fair, fun challenges people use:

  • Friendly challenge: flip every hidden card in one run.
  • Friendly challenge: ten pairs in a row with no miss.
  • Friendly challenge: finish under two minutes.
  • Friendly challenge: two-player race on the same deal.
  • If you do bet something, bet a real-world thing: the loser makes tea, the loser chooses the next game, the loser does the washing up.
  • Play-money only, and never bet money you cannot afford to lose.
09

Reward & badge ideas

Ideas for the future. The stars, badges, and Best Player board described below are proposals. They are not currently awarded or tracked by zbani.com.

Stars. Earn stars for playing well in Santa Tripeaks:

  • Stars are based on level, score and how few hints you used.
  • Stars are kept on your profile, so you can see your total growing over time rather than only your best single round.

Badges to collect:

  • Peak Master - flip every hidden card
  • Streak 10 - ten pairs in a row with no miss
  • Speed Round - finish under 2 minutes
  • Clean Sweep - finish a round without losing a life
  • Speed Star - finish under the target time
  • Combo Master - reach a 10x multiplier
  • Comeback Kid - win from last place or lowest score
  • Daily Player - play 7 days in a row

The Best Player board for Santa Tripeaks:

  • The top scores and best times for Santa Tripeaks are listed on a 'Best Player' board for that game, so there is always a target to aim at.
  • Beating your own score is the first milestone. Beating someone else on the board is the second. Both are worth celebrating.
  • Board spots should reset when the game is updated or the difficulty changes, so the ranking always means something.

Reward idea for a family or class:

  • Collect 10 stars for a sticker, 50 stars for a real reward, and 200 stars for 'Game Master of the Month'. Kids remember the badge far longer than the score, and it rewards steady practice instead of one lucky round.

Yes. Every game on zbani.com is free to play and needs no account.

Do I need an account or sign-up?

Not to play. Signing in is only needed to post comments and join the player community conversations.

Can I play on a phone?

Yes - the games run in a normal web browser and respond to taps and swipes as well as mouse and keyboard.

Will there be adverts?

The game is hosted by HTMLGames and shows their advertising. It does not cost anything and it is not connected to your game account.

What is the best way to get better?

Play a few short rounds, write down the one thing that went wrong, and fix that next round. That single habit is what separates a good score from a great one.

About this guide

Sections 1, 2, 4, 5 and 11 come from the official Santa Tripeaks game pages on zbani.com. Sections 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are written by a helper tool from the official description and the kind of game it is: they are guidance for players, not official rules from the publisher.

Sections 8 and 9 describe friendly challenges and a rewards idea for a family, class or community. zbani.com does not run real-money betting, and the 'Best Player' board described here is a suggestion for a leaderboard, not an existing zbani.com feature.

Word count of this card: about 1334 words.
